If you have never played fantasy leagues before, here is a brief explanation of what FPL is all about.
Fantasy is a type of game, currently played mostly online, in which players select players to take part in a given competition within a set budget and rules, and points are awarded for the players' achievements in real matches.
There are two main types of gameplay here - fantasy draft, which is usually a closed group game, where each player is selected only once, and the standard version, where each player is assigned a value and each participant can choose a given player if they can afford it.
Fantasy Premier League, which we are writing about today, is the latter type of gameplay - although you can also find fantasy draft leagues on Premier League.
The organizer of the game is the league itself, and the game is available on the official portal of the competition. Everything works very intuitively there, so even with poor knowledge of the language you should be able to handle it.
The rules of FPL are easy, no quantum physics required. You do have to learn the basic rules and scoring, but it shouldn't take too long.
The relatively simple rules of fantasy Premier League are one of the things that contribute to the immense popularity of the game.
